The primary goal of the study conducted on Munroe Island (Mundrothuruthu) in Kerala’s backwaters near Kollam is to understand how environmental risks impact various aspects of life on the island. The study focused on examining the effect of the island’s infrastructure, regulatory policies, living and working conditions, and other factors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact of environmental risks.
