This research project explores the Aranmula Kannadi, a traditional mirror crafted in Aranmula, Kerala. This project surveyed the mirror’s origins and connection to the Aranmula Parthasarathy temple, its manufacturing process and designs, the challenges faced by the families that make the mirror, and consumer sentiments on the Kannadi within and outside Aranmula.
