This research study aimed to contextualise what happens during the performace of string puppets in Rajasthan. While it still remains a vital attraction for Jaipur's tourism industry, there isn't much literature that explores what happens behind the curtains of the stage; from the moment the wood is procured to the performance of the Kathputlis on stage.
