Kutch’s pottery is an intricate craft and has historical significance. It is an artform and a source of livelihood that connects the potters to their land, community, and the centuries-long legacy they uphold. Kutchi pottery withstood the setbacks posed by modern developments like industrialisation or the devastating earthquakes in 2001, it has culminated into an irreplaceable cultural artifact. The research look at the effects of the social forces on Kutchi Pottery by examining its evolution over centuries. Research analysis relationship between the craft and the Kumbhars by examining the influence that pottery has on the culture, lifestyle, economic conditions and social systems.
