Follow the road: The economics of roadside temples

Roadside temples are place of worship which are not regulated by thegovernment and are generally bereft of any mode of officiality or accountability. They do not find any mention or recognition, since they are owned by private individuals. This study seeks to understand the motives behind people to create and visit these temples.
