This research study looks into the Cheenapara, the Chinese population residing in Kolkata for over two centuries. Through an ethnographic method of collecting information, the researches focsed on the experience of the Chinese population's socioeconomic and social adjustments in West Bengal. Additionally, the reseearchers also observed the reduction in the Chinese population, challenges imposed by the Indian government, and what the future holds in store for the Cheenapara.
